Edwin Courts

Before Eventful...

Born and educated in England, Edwin first studied Computer Science and went on to gain advanced degrees in Industrial Robotics and Project Management. Employment with a large American computer company first brought Edwin to Munich in 1984, where after enjoying international experience in software consultancy and project planning, he took on the role of international events manager in the company, In 1993 Edwin moved to the supplier side organising and planning commercial events in the technology sector, where he first met John Cullen, and they subsequently went on to found Eventful Management together in 1999. As the company evolved from the early days of building events in a rented garage, and then in a farmer’s yard Edwin and John moved the company to the current bespoke premises in 2011.

At Eventful...

Edwin continues to manage the company with his business partner John. He became a Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) in 2006 and qualified as a Chartered Manager in 2012. Staff and customers alike continue to benefit from and respect his extensive network and knowledge of the event industry, as Edwin always knows something or someone for every topic presented to him!
